Lost and Broken

Distraught by your hatred,
Doing what you thrive in.
Holding my fate in your hands.
Twisting my feelings around,
And slaying my emotions.
Your deranged cruelty loves to play with my vulnerability.
But my denial leads me to you as soon as I've left,
Just to return for another slap in the face.
My stupidity creates anger within me,
And yet I still strive to do nothing at all.

As I smile at everyone else, I'm dying inside... ~Me

great read, as always. i enjoy your poetry a lot... i sometimes wish i could thank people for letting strangers like me delve into a very personal part of themselves... so thank you
