I wouldn't be alone now
If you had heard my cry.
But somehow it passed your ears
I wish I could do more than weep.

The stars are bright tonight
And I couldn't feel more alone
I wish you could hold me
And just let me cry.

There's warmth coming from the sky
But it's cold inside.
I wish I could believe
You're out there somewhere.

Im falling to my knees
Why aren't you here to catch me?
Im losing my hope
Why aren't you here to strengthen me?

I wish I could believe you're out there somewhere.

The honest truth...I LOVED IT! I can't pick one part out that I liked the best because that would be the whole poem. Beautifully written. ~*~Kirah~*~

I liked this, it managed to convey the feeling without sounding too sentimental or self-pitying. I liked the use of natural imagery. Nice one!
