Standing In Silence...

With all this stress
I've gotta write
and get it off my chest
someone's gotta listen
when I talk about my pain
these tears glisten
on my cheeks
like newly fallen rain
this is almost to real
to even believe or see
let alone to feel!
I feel so hollow
I can taste the pain
in my tears
I have to swallow
my pride and not slip
back to the years
when I would've thought
happiness was fake.
Have I already lost
what was at stake?
My love, my heart, my soul.
Come save me from
the torment that I face
everyday, I see it
I wish it would leave
without a trace
dissapear forever
lost in space
never to return
Abrupt Halt....

I like this one alot! All these 0's next to titles are disturbing, so many new people here not wanting to comment.
I can really relate to this poem, well done!
