She buy groceries everday, and she always do the laundry,
Cook for a hungry family, make sure the children bathe daily
Tough but someone has to bother, just go that little bit farther,
After the loss of their father, all though it's kinda hard on her.
She ain't never been on wellfair, rather work two jobs she don't care,
Whatever's been said it's not rare, can't have holes in the clothes they wear.

She's a strong woman, a giving woman,
A do things outta love woman.
She's a good woman, an honest woman,
A geener grass seein' woman.

Drive her kids to theire baseball games, let them learn what real life contains,
Rent films, makes porpcorn on fridays, just smile when the carpet gets stained.
She bought her youngest a new bike, her oldest got a car in the drive,
She tries to give with all her might, hear them say luv ya's worth the fight.
Her quit time's her personal time, she read a book to ease her mind,
And lays the long hard day behind, but she'd never ever rewind.

She's a warm woman, a witty woman,
A heart of solid gold woman.
She's a calm woman, a promised woman,
A knowing what to say woman.

She is looking back upon her life, knowing she never gave up the fight,
Ain't been a prouder tear from her eye.
She did her job well raising her kids, she's feeling emotionaly rich,
Though her heart's blown it's very last kiss.

She's the lords woman, an angel woman
From heaven looking down woman...

God Bless her.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Brian, this is beautiful, sweet friend, it is sad for her to cope with her loss but I know how she loves her children and because of her they will grow and become golden-hearted like her! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Brian, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Wonderful!! It reminds me of the way that my mom was! There a a few spelling mistakes but other than that I don't see anything wrong with the piece, it is emotional and heartfelt and definitly has my vote! Enjoyable read.

This is a wonderful dedication.

Heartwarming indeed, and you get a chance to fix mistakes before it goes into the book as well by the way.

Thanks everyone for voting & replying to this one. Got inspired by my own mother and began thinking back to when I was around ten years old. Before my step dad came into the picture. She really worked her ass off for us. and thought I'd writing something for her.
Also did a re-spelling of as much as I could, anyone know where to post it?
Gonna throw it on her for the moment, but please do speak up if you see something I missed! thanks.

You'll have a chance to do an edit, Brian, if this makes the rounds.  Good job...nothing like dedicating a poem to your mom!  Hugs...
