Great, The curse of the clutz returns. I've done it again, I let my head speak before thinking. And In the mixture of all of it, I'm losing eveyone. I know that if they just leave they're not really good friends, but I cant help feel it was my fault. If It weren't for me, you might still talk to me. I know I shouldn't blame you, although at first I did. All the frustration I piled on you, how could anyone stand it? I understand that our friendship is over, for I'm the one who ended it. Whatever happens, I want you to know that I'm sorry that I put you through that. You were just concerned, but I pushed you away too. You must be confused, just as I. Everything between us, went in flames in a matter of seconds. Why did I have to act the way I did, you just were trying to help. You were just trying to be a good friend, and trying not see me get hurt. Instead of asking you to stop worring, I hurt you. I know me saying 'sorry' wont make a difference. Sorry is just a word, and words mean absolutly nothing. I truely am sorry though, even if you never know I am. I dont expect you to forgive me, because I wouldn't forgive myself either. You had enough of my negitivity, and probably enough of my sarcasm. I know you wont listen to my empy apoligies, Thats all they are...empty. You know better then to trust me, so why did you? Did I trick you, or wait 'til you let your guard down? Both...You've learned your lesson, never trust a liar like me. Someone else will hurt you like I did, and you dont need to get hurt twice for the same mistake. I am sorry that everything had to end this way... I brought it upon myself, and I'm not asking you to forgive me. I'm not asking anything of you, just simply apologising. For what I did, and how I treated you. I dont deserve to talk to you, I know that. I know we'll never be friends again, it would be selfish of me to ask that. Things will never be the same, and I accept that. You did mean something to me, even though you'll never know for sure because of my lies. I didn't mean to cause this chaos, and even worse...I left you wondering why. Everything has been said before, and you'll never hear from me again. I'm finally out of you life for good...just know I am sorry... |

No, Im not. Worst thing is...He thinks really low of me...And I think he always did  But thats ok. because pretty soon i'll be over it. All I need is time. Plus, Im not talking to him, so there for he never will read any of my poems ever again. ~*Bruises fade father, but the pain remains the same, I still remember how you kept me so afraid, Strength is my mother for all the love she gave*~ |

 (big hugggsssssss) Oh Delaney, my heart goes out to you, dear friend, I understand this frustration and anguish and all I can say is time will ease the healing, even if it may sound cliche and all will be forgiven even when the friendship is gone! I couldn't finish reading that. If I did I would start crying. I did the same thing to my best friend (you could hear about him in almost everything I write)Time will help. I have learned that by seeing others go through it to it could help. Very well done. ^*~AJMGW~*^ |

Same thing happened to me about a month ago with someone that I saw as a lifelong friend, but I've moved on and accepted that we won't ever be friends again. Nicely written poem, very touching. ~*~Karen~*~ |

Woah, Del, this is THE best poem I've ever read from you.  Beautifully done  Sometimes you find a friend where once there wasn't one. Sometimes you find a love where once there was a friend. |
