The Building We Built

When we first started to build,
It was going so well.
From the very first brick,
I knew it was great.
Watching it grow,
It was only getting better.
When things weren't right,
We made our adjustments.
We changed some of the plans
To make it even better.
Higher and higher,
Better and better.
Every now and then
There were minor problems;
Nothing too major,
Nothing we couldn't fix.
As it was getting near the end,
We looked at it and loved it.
We looked back to all the moments
That made it turn out so great.
The very first brick,
The very first error.
In the end it turned out
Better than we expected.
Now the building looks great,
And nothing can ruin it.
We layed down every brick,
We fixed every problem.
We worked together to make it great,
We're a great team.
Nothing can ruin
The greatness that we built.

This has a very strong message. It says to me that you have worked long and hard to make yourself who you are and that nobody can ever take that away. Very uplifting
