Hope Your Happy (long)

You claim to be so in love with him(infatuation)
You don't know what love really is.
All you see is this wonderful guy
That your best friend happens to be in love with.
Why do you always want
what you can't have?
You knew I still loved him
but you flirted with him anyway.
Every time you smile at him
It twists teh knife in my heart.
I hope your happy.

I'm sorry I hurt you.
I never meant for it to be this way.
It just got too hard.
Too many people were against us.
I just couldn't take it anymore.
I'm sorry for what I did.
I'd take it back if I could.
I can try to make it up to you.
(you have to let me)
I know it'll be hard
to undo all the damage.
But I know we can do it.
Our love can get us through.
(you have to let it)
Time should have healed the wounds.
But it still hurts.
like salt in a cut
everytime you look at me
with those cold, uncaring eyes.
I hope your happy now.

Can't you remember what we had?
The most glorious love to ever be seen.
Don't you remember how you felt?
Holding each other so tight
So tight.
Like if we let go,
we'd fall apart forever.
desperately clinging to each other.
Holding on to the only thing we had left
in this whirlwind if lies and confusion.
But I let that go.
Never should have said those words
Those words that destroyed so much.
I hope you happy.

I'm lost in a time warp
of when we were still together,
still so blissfullly happy.
But I know no time now.
The calendar says its only been 4 months.
But its really an eternity.
I don't wanna live without you in my life.
Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?

Where ever life may take you,
I hope it treats you well,
I hope your happy.
And maybe someday,
with your help,
I can be happy again.

I don't really like this. I wrote it before but my computer ate over half of it, and I didn't remember all of it so its not as good as it was. Any suggestions would be helpful.
