Sitting in the darkness Refrained from every light Every breath an inch closer To unimaginable fright Losing what's left of sanity Taking it all in Tasting tears on wet lips Remorsing over sin Sweat perspires from a brow Tracing a pale face Caressing cheekbones as it slides At a slow and steady pace Mind is screaming in denial Heart racing to an extreme Then suddenly it's realized That it is all a dream* "In life you must dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love like it's never going to hurt..." |
