The sunset was beautiful
Orange and Pink.
So many colors filling the evening sky
I stood and watched as they changed their hue
And I felt something inside me
Become still.
All the worries that had clung to me
Throughout the day
Decided to suddenly
Fade away.
And all the wonders about tomorrow
And what it would hold
Fled before the richness of the sky.
There are things out there
So much more than you and I
I was shown that
As the sun said goodbye.
So quickly did it die
The wonderful blazing up high
As the afternoon sun melted away
So many colors as it's array
To give way to the darkest of blues
And the silvery glow of the moon.

We take so many beautiful things in this life for granted.

Honestly...I liked it

and as for taking so many beautiful things in life for granted...I have to agree. you dont even realize it when you do it...still, wonderful poem!

Ahhh yes...The sunset does have plenty of ways of letting go of stuff...Wonderfully written. I couldn't have done it better myself...You've topped it off with a great two last lines!! I love them the best. Very imageretic...(Imagery...)...Is imageretic even a word? Lol. I love it...*Clicks box to add to me library!* I love sunsets...I want to be married in one...

I have no contructive criticism....Everything was purely beautiful...I love sunsets too! Got a few poems 'bout them meself!

This poem made me go

all over the place, just because I loved it so much! lol.

This poem is amazing! It is so beautiful I can see exactly what your describing, I love it! The picture that you portray is stunning and your meaning is very clear, and a very good one I might add!
