Is it?

Tell me,
is it what you thought?
Or are you surprised, caught?
Were all your dreams misthought?
Do you still seek what you saught?

Tell me,
how many years have you lived?
Who have you loved?
Is this to you a warm hand gloved?
Or unwillingly were you womb-shoved?

Life isn't nearly what I dreamed,
but, yet, in it's own right,
possibly, maybe, yes, interesting.
Is that enough?

Is it?

Never a fear of death in me;
now, curiously, no desire to die.
No warm welcomg of death's mist.
No invite to the mistress.

Life is happening,
and I must go out on top.
So, tell me,
is it? (what you thought)

Hmm... Different, yes. I like it. Very well done, again.

In the 3rd? stanza, that's supposed to be "possible" right? Not pissible lol? And that other thing is supposed to be "hardly"? Hasty in posting this one? I like it anyway . Good job on this poem, different is a nice refreshing escape from the same.
Great Job!

You pose a good question. I myself am not sure as to my answer. But I do know the poem was great. I'm glad I read it.

I like the poem. I like the questioning, the repetition, the typical human responces, etc, etc...

Lovely.

This ones got me thinking, Ti. Intriguing and most thought provoking. One thing though - as well as it was written, why did you stop the rhyme? I thought it had a really good thing going there but then it just...stopped. Don't build us up like that!!!! *breathes*

Nice job.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your comments, my peeps. Raise the roof! Yes, it's offical, I can be a dork. So what.

Af... I stopped the ryhme because I'm not too big a fan of it, and I was switching gears in the poem, from general to myself, so, I thought it worked.

Thanks again...

Titus~
I always enjoy poems that make me think
and this one succeeded in doing just that.
Great job on this.
