which path will you take?

Following the easy path is better said then done
A choice between 2 lifes,for the tale has just begun

A breath is taken,as is a moment in time
A mind is cleared,but a soul awaits
2 roads to follow as a mind debates

should this be the minds decison
or should this be just mine

Paths were chosen, all but yours
Opertunity opens, and yet seems to close doors
Choose this life,or choose none
Its so much easier said then ever it is done

Should I choose life thats predicted
Or a life that I dont know
Paths are crossed now, and i dont know where to go

Driving as a follower, a leader never have
following a path to one which had no end
I turn around, I make a different choice,and loose yet another friend

The feeling i felt when i did such, was relife not regret
That night i turned around, is a night i shall not forget

So a road less traveled was taken you see
and for once in my life the leader was me

The path i choose was valiant,
Instead of what was wrong
I know this not because its told
but because i know its true

My life would have been no where
to a point of no return
the winding path to which i couldnt see
the bridges have been burned

I think of whos lives ive changed
and no not only mine
What would it have been like to draw outside the lines
That ill never know, the experiance i wont know
but my life has meaning,i know now where to go

A good poem about the journey of life.. I like that you acknowledged the fact that we have choices.

This was a good poem with a lot of meaning. My favorite line was:
"So a road less traveled was taken you see
and for once in my life the leader was me"
