I wasn't going to post this one, cause Im really unsure about it, but I guess I am anyway. It's hard say exactly what depression is like, but I think this one comes pretty close.

Trust is a pill I can't swallow,
I try every day to make it
But it won't go down.
Scream, but there's no one to hear me.
I stand on tear stained ground
The rivers that flow were started by pain,
And I can still hear the crying
The echoes of so many lost souls wishing they were dying.
My voice isn't loud enough to be heard
I stand crushed within them.
The river won't set me free,
Im falling to my knees.
And there I will stay till I break.
My tears add too much to the river
But I can't stop their flowing.
So hollow within,
So empty.
Everywhere I look there's black
My cry can't be heard.
The darkness takes and keeps it.
Im alone on this empty wasteland of sadness
There's nothing I can touch,
There's nothing here to feel.
Im falling to my knees and screaming,
And there I will stay till I break.

You might not like this poem much if you don't have depression, even if you do you might think it's weird, I don't know why I posted it anyway. It's not too recent, in other words Im not that depressed right now.

I really do like this poem.  I can totally relate to it, trust is a big problem for me, I have insecurities.  Good work I must say!

I can understand were you are coming from, I used to be very depressed myslef but I pulled through..I think that this poem was such a hard one and may sound funny to some people because it is about a dark emotion and it is hard to let those emotions out and be heard. I did like the poem though good job

Depression is something everyone can related to at one point and time in their life, and i liked this poem cause i was able to relate, maybe not cause of how i feel at this point and time but how i have felt in the past, thanx for sharing.

This portrayed depression very well. I know it's a different experience for everyone, but you managed to get the universal feeling of depression in there. Nice one
