You've been through so much,
Things I can't even begin to comprehend,
I don't know how you can survive.
I would've fallen apart by now.
Hearing about all the suffering you've endured
And just how strong you really are,
I have stop and ask myself:
Could I really ever be good enough?
Do I even deserve to be with someone like you?
You've seen love face to face,
And seen it taken away so quickly,
Before you even got a chance to know that it was real.
While I can't say that I've ever been that close to love.
But...
I'm hoping you can show me,
And teach me how to survive,
Just like you.

That was a really good poem, I epecially liked the end. Well done!

I can never get into the flow of a nonrhyming poem but you did a good job of that. I was actually able to easily read this and understand it and it was a good poem on top of that.
