Light a candle at dinner
To guide our way
The light of the fire
Makes everything okay
The flame will burn bright
And add warmth to our hearts
Even when the silence
Is ripping us apart
The coldness in our eyes
Is invisible through the light
As long as the candle is burning
Everything will be alright
We’ve all given up hope
No matter how hard anyone tries
At the end of every day
The candle always dies.

I loved this poem, you have a really good talent.  I think I just might have got thrown off a bit on what exactly was going on...but that is the beauty of poetry, everyone can interpret it differently!
