I told him how I felt tonight
He meant the world to me
I told him how I loved him so
How we were meant to be
I told him how much I cared for him
Our love will never scar
He said that he can't be with me
Because we live to far
He says it hurts him too bad inside
The distance hurts us both
I told him how it would work out
Just give our love some time for growth
He didn't want to listen
He said this was goodbye
He said he didn't want it to have to end this way
Yet he left me alone all by myself, I felt like I could die

Wow. I've had a similar problem...still do kind of. I hate distance! It ruins good relationships. I love your poem though. I really felt and feel how you feel. Love DOES hurt, but always remember. Everything DOES happen for a reason...Whether that reason is for or for bad, we never know. But anyway. Good write. ~*~Kirah~*~

nice poem, but the uneven line lenghts sorta threw me off...but the feelings really came across

I am currently in a situation with extreme distance, and I haven't told him how I felt just quite yet...who knows when I will. I have the fear of something like that happening, but love is about taking chances and putting your heart out on the line...if it bends or breaks it will soon mend.

Very good poem, from the replies I read alot of people can relate to it. Including me, there's ALOT of distance between me and this guy, but we're still hangin on. Well done!
