Nightscape …in… …a… …dream… …I.. …see… …a… Carcass, Carrion, yellowed meat, Deathly pale, rancid sweet, Fetid lifeblood turned to rust, Rotted innards rent with lust, Eye that fixes a baleful glare, Festers in its sockets lair, A naked spar all a moulder, Rank flesh on a frozen shoulder, An appealing face decomposing, Her lips are cobalt putrefying, Locks entangled, gorged in blood, Wreathed inside the waters flood, When I discern she is lifeless, dead, Immediately she elevates her head, Renovates her corroded grin, Whispers coldly to my sin, “Now you’re mine, come on in.” …from… …that… …dream… …I… …never… …wake… Solipsism saves us from the atavism of the Equalitarian. |
