Staring

I wish you would not stare,
Unnerving it feels at least,
Yet I can not look away,
Your eyes are a vice,
In which I am locked tight,
Until I am drowning alive.

Resistance is fine,
The moment in time is stretched,
I can not push you aside,
Always I strive in vain,
I will stand to the world,
But then I fall to a kiss.

Stepping the stones to your light,
I find that I am looking at you,
And my eyes are a muddy patch,
To bury you deep in,
Until you can see through me,
Then I shall see time stopped still.

Solipsism saves us from the atavism of the Equalitarian.
