Have you ever felt so strongly,
Strong enough for one person
That you think about them 24/7?

Have you ever just wished
That one day
Your dreams of the two of you
Will be reality?

Have you ever wondered
What exactly would have happened
If you had just acted differently?

But most of all,
Have you ever known
That the feelings won't be returned
And your dreams will be just that
Dreams and only dreams
And that how you acted
Screwed up every chance you ever had
And that no matter how much
You sit and think of them
That they will never think of you?

And is all you have ever wanted
was for things to get better?
And for time to hurry up and heal the pain?
Have you ever?
Because I have.

Nice. I can relate to that. It is a past, but I will remember. Thanks for sharing.

vballplaya18~
I'm sure that many of us, including myself,
can answer 'yes' to at least some of the
questions that you have posed in this write.
You have written this in such a way that the
reader can 'feel' the words and make them their own.
Very nicely done.

I love this poem...Alot of us can relate to situations like these...Atleast I know I can! You can definitely see that you wrote this poem from personal experience...the way every writer should write. Great Job!

Good poem. The questioning is really good because it allows you to divide what you want to say into stanzas more easily. Good use of poetic technique.
