He orders me coffee,
says it reminds him
of a bruise I acquired
after fist met thigh
on some lonely evening.

Although I want green tea,
to match the color his eyes
would be if  tears
flowed freely through them,

I utter no complaints.

If he knew me at all
he wouldn't love me.

"If he knew me at all he wouldn't love me."
I can understand this line rather well. Heh...strange isn't it.
I liked the way you did this, unconventional to the rest of the forums.

Casey~
I really like this piece.
You've made a powerful statement with just a
few well-chosen words.  I like that.
Very nicely done.
Congratulations, too, on your NPAC award...awesome!
I can't wait to see more of your work.
