The place just beyond my eyes, where my spirit flies.

Turn the page,
Theres a new chapter in my life today,
When I went to sleep a boy,
And woke a man.
Leaving childhood fears behind,
As I step into a whole new light,
Filled with fears of other sorts.
I turn malevolence on its ear and,
I'm confused because I don't live a lie,
Nor do I live a truth.
I live someplace in the middle now,
Where you crash into the moon,
And fall into the sun.
Remembering the days,
When I didn't have to search for innocence,
It was just there.

Happy Birthday Darkness... and you captured the turning point so well! I'm 19; and while it never becomes black or white, you do learn how to deal...
