My life’s only one true desire I desire thee more than anyone in existence My heart squeezed a little bit more With each word that escapes thy lips Those lips that I so long to kiss To feel their sweet remedy To any pain I have ever endured With every sunrise my thoughts turn to you Your voice, your words, your touch Salty tears down my cheeks Could things be different I think it not My sorrow shall continue But my hope shall also live on Hope and pray for the day That the sorrow will be erased My loves eyes penetrate deep into my soul Sliding into my thoughts Gliding through my dreams Like clouds through the sky The touch, the sweet caress Sends thrills up and down my spine The warmth of a lover’s touch Like a gentle kiss on every inch of my flesh My hearts rhythmic beating Seems to whisper your name Sounding it out slowly and softly With every step I take I progress slightly further away from you Each raindrop a reflection of how handsome you are Falling on my flesh and mixing with my tears Salty and yet sweet My life’s one true desire |

wow!!! this was a poem i can relate to in more ways than one. your imagery was amazing, and im assuming you still love whoever this person may be but are trying to move on, something i can very much relate to. I cannot wait to see more of your work. you truley have an amazing talent.. shea |
