Well, here's another one from my book of stuff.  This one was written during one of my past relationships, when I realized the love was gone.  It's a bit sad, and a bit odd...
To make matters worse, I realized I wasn't over my former girlfriend.  I was depressed then, maybe, just a little.

****************************************************

Tears run down my face
as I look into my heart,
and I know I've fallen from grace,
'Cause once again my world's fallen apart.

I was a fool then;
To think I was ready to love again.
To think myself over her.
To try and love after her.

I should've known I wasn't fine,
realized my heart needed more time,
but I was too proud to admit,
that I couldn't really take it.

And now there are two
who have entered my heart.
Two have broken through
and torn my world apart.

The one from the present,
I swear I love her so!
To love her I got full consent,
yet loving again was a mistake, I know.

As for the other, I don't know.
Why do I feel for her so?
The tense moments we share,
let me know she still cares.

I always wanted to be the knight
who carried the princess away.
Little did I know that that might,
lead me to crying as I do tonight.

"You can't hurt meee!!  'Cause I've got on my cheeeeese helmet!"

Well as usual this is a beautiful poem, and I have no idea what you should call this one.

It shows a lot when a guy isn`t afraid to cry..especially when they admit that they do. And you made such a wonderful poem! I liked it a lot.

I'm hopeless with titles Rich, but I'll have a think about this one and let you know if I come up with anything! I've been in similar places before as well and it's rough... I hope things are better for you now!

Rich~
I just love reading your poetry, and this is no exception.
You always put so much heart into your writing
and it definitely shows.  I could feel the emotions
in this as I read.
I'm not really sure about a title for this,
but 'Knight Fall' did come to mind...just an idea.
I very much enjoyed this, Rich..nicely penned.
