i start my days awaken by the light,
just to close my eyes as it turn night,
i walk the walk that sets my flight,
i did my wrongs and i've done them right,

i seen enough faces to make me pray each day,
i've been enough places to make me not stay,
i had enough relations to make me stray,
but i haven't stray enough to make me gay!

i done everything in site not once or twice,
the only thing i'm missing is my first wife,
but i think she not coming, not in this life,
unless i call forth the devil and pay his price...

Hmm.... I don't really know what to say to this.  I mean, I liked it, but I can't explain WHY, so I sound like a big dork.  Oh.  Wait.  I AM one.  LOL  Great poem!  Keep on writin'!

"i did my wrongs and i've done them right"

"but i think she not coming, not in this life,

I like these lines particularly.

Such a price.

Thanks for posting.
