Hello friend
and where have you been this week?
Out of your head and out of your body.

I haven't seen you in days and you don't answer your phone
And it would be fine if we knew
(just where on the planet are you anyway?)
Where you are.

Just to check you're OK.

Well, hope you are well
(don't forget to change your socks)
And for God's sake talk
Tell us something to stop the worst-case scenarios
That hover in our heads.

So, wherever you are, have fun
(and please don't forget to call).

----------------------------------------------------
Ever had one of those friends that tend to vanish into thin air for days at a time? I have, and this is about him. Drives me mad, really does.

Yes I know exactly how it is with friends like that. You put it into words well. Nicely done. Im sure Frederick would love to meet Sid.

I know exactly what you mean. I have a friend who I hear from a few times every few months and then he disappears again. It's incredibly frustrating. I got used to it though..

Good poem. I like the communicative language in this.

I am such a friend in that i sometimes pull these disappearing acts. Thanks for giving me the perspective of my friends.

Love conquers all, so I must be in a losing battle.

Why, thankyou people! *bows*. The problem with friends like these is that you can't help but worry if they're OK or not. This friend ran out of class yesterday for some reason. He returned three hours later saying that he went to the beach. Madness *shakes head*.
