i love you mom
i love you dad
are words i say everyday

i love you sis
i love you bro
are words i also say

but these words one can't hear
one that is small and round
my nephew Conner
who now lays in the ground

i love you little Conner
your auntie is always here
as long as i am here to listen
you shall never fear

those monsters that come out at night
the ones you never saw
belive me little guy
you are better of without the fright

if you can hear these words right now
there are so many things to tell you
but i don't know how

i might not be good with words
but this i can say
i love you little Conner
and your auntie is here to stay

Oh my goodness, that was so beautiful and touching! I can especially relate to that because I've been an aunt since I was 8 years old, recently the number of nephews and nieces went up to six. New baby girl. But I realize I don't tell them all often enough that I love them. I need to do that. thank you for your write!

I don't know you but *hugs you tight* this may be hard to believe, but wow... I'm crying... I lost a niece, and I feel the same way that you described. Email me if you want to talk, okay?

Omg poems cant get much more beautiful then this. This was a wonderful write about something that is so hard to even think about writing. I also had a tear in my eye after i read this. Keep on writing you definitely have the talent.

Oh man. My nephew may get on my nerves sometimes, but I can't imagine him not being there. I'm so sorry for you.

I know all too well how much the loss of a loved one can hurt. But all we can do is try to heal, and in turn, heal those around us.

Death is not extinguishing the light;
it is putting out the lamp
because the dawn has come.

Aww hun...this was absolutely beautiful .

Standing on the edge of the world
Now I don’t want you to catch me
I want you to let me
Stand up here and walk on my own

What a beautiful and loving write for your nephew.
You love for him comes through in every word.
I'm sorry that you and your family have suffered such a loss,
and I wish you all the best in months and years to come.
Hugs,
~Vicky
