in the pouring rain

warm air hits my frost bitter face
once more the heat is torn
snow falls with sleigh bells ringing
in the background of my mind

christmas trees fall all around me
pine needles hold fast in my hair
sap runs down my face warming my soul
running up and down the river

in my head a vision paints
nutcrackers stand against the wall
being thankful that up above was born
giving me reason to live, for this moment

clickity clickity the horses clop
down the snow filled lane
its master claps the whip
stirring a feeling deep within

every year, around this time
my life seems so grand
and i can't wait till its time again
to be joyful for his life

Morning mist clings to my face, and my soul opens up to you......

Riley. I love this. It seemed to draw me right in from the very beginning. Awesome job on this

No, on second thought, let's not go to Camelot.
