In recent months we've grown near
There's been many of good times shared
Your one of the few who truely cared
I hope this poem makes things clear

Knowing I can always count on you
As you know I'll always be there
A good friend like you is rare
Glad I got a chance to know you

Many memories in a short time
Late talks, cheesecake, games of taboo
Skating, movies, and muggles too
These times forever in my mind

For me things won't be the same
First Vono, now you, can't help but be sad
Get to fulfill your dreams, for that i'm glad
Can't believe how fast this came

Not a goodbye but a see ya later
In Panorama and Japan have some fun
Still here for you when your done
Now go experience something greater

I wrote this poem for a girl i'm best friends with, she's going to be out of my life for the next year and a half, i thought this would be a nice poem to give to her as a going away present.

Thats a very neat gift to leave her with, I'm positive she'll love it...I do!

That was a really good poem about your friend going away. I like how your also happy for her getting to experience new things. You did show it to her right?
