flare unto the majesty of light that shines from the billowing clouds
the lights with which comes by to us into the useless shrouds
what shall we do, us being people of no light and earthly needs
i declare upon this land, a powerful choiceless creed

dost* thou need my unrelentless help, the green turning brown under
only we can hope, that water soon comes, and world does not plunder
all the animals that we hoped would grow, are dieing under force of sun
tiny ones with wobble legs, are leaving though its just begun

down on hands and knees, i lift my head and pray above
that you shall send down, a smile that carries upon it love
taking care of all the land , and the roots that grow underneath
and give thanks that as we are called roots, the green is recovering from the horrid sheath

*I believe that is the proper thing, as Brian told me, but I think that so don't hold it to me because I don't think to often.....

Morning mist clings to my face, and my soul opens up to you......

Agean: Sometimes poetry has a story line and is supposed to feel as such.....in fact doesn't all poetry have a story line. Well anyway thanks a lot for replying.

Riley: Is "dieing" anything like "dying"?
