The silence falls My tears start to flow People I wish I didn’t know Things were said Hearts were broken Wish I had never spoken Distraught in my world Confused never knowing Feelings that I should be showing Didn’t get to say I’m sorry But I never got the chance Oh how my smile used to dance Part of me has died My soul has been lost Why does happiness have a cost? Happiness shattered People pushed away Maybe I’ll be good enough someday I was never welcome And now I’ll never be After all this I wish you could see How happy we are Your son and I And how I made him a better guy Your skull is too thick But that doesn’t matter Because our love you’ll never shatter It Feels As If I've Always Been Someone On The Outside Looking In. |

I like the rhyme scheme ( sp ) you used here.it worked well with the poem. riley Morning mist clings to my face, and my soul opens up to you...... |

That was right nice, I liked the rhyme scheme too. It does seem as though all happiness comes with a price. |
