"Will I Ever" (22/11/02) © 2002 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved Verse 1 She is told happiness, is a long hard progress, So she signs up for a class. Stuck behind an old desk, life gives a pop quize, Now she's sinking with a splash. While she whisper to herself.... Chorus Will I ever find what I'm looking for 'fore it's too late? Will I ever know the true meaning of the word soulmate? Will I ever close this door and open another one. Before I'm said and done? Will I ever?? Verse 2 She just stare at her feet, passing lovers on the street, Nothing to resemble to. She's walking the lost walk, talking the empty talk, Underneath those eyes so blue. As she whisper to herself.... Chorus Bridge Impossible, nothing's impossible, She tells herself in the mirror each day. I'm beautiful, I'm sunset beautiful, And somehow, somewhere, love will head my way. But doesn't whisper to herself... Chorus |

that is so touching and it reflects how we are with oursleves, knowing what we want but never where to find it. This is great! Yes there will be tommorrow, but will you be there to greet it? |
