I’m held down by sorrow’s gravity
standing high on grounds of arguing mirrors
What else is there to be said?
This is my own race I run with.
Hope’s glimpse is not trapped in these crazy games
but overshadowed by falsie destinations.
I would like to call out
and shout at nature with the anger trapped in this soul.
I’m comforted by sanity’s garbage
I’m not lost within these walls of despair
but trapped by crying fools escaping echoing sounds of the day
And chained down by mirrors of myself
All roads lead to a laughing Satin
Where have all my innocence gone?
I’ve become my own drunken God
eating fruits among all gardens of fools
weeping in silence with the slave I’ve become to joys of the weak.
I look under my ego’s secrets
And I found myself battling calm wars of temptation
wishing to bury death
through cultivating my once honored birth
through the rusted small pipes of unspoken anger

The place just beyond my eyes, where my spirit flies.

Holy crap this was good!!

It was so cool how you compared Satin and God. I love your style and the words you've chosen.

Great poem

Mmmmm satin! *cuddles her sheets* Couldn't help myself.. Save the spelling mistakes, this was a pretty good poem. I really liked this:  "I’m comforted by sanity’s garbage" and the more I think about it, I like it even more...Keep writing.
