I Know… I know that you and I can never be, Because that would mean my dreams have become reality. I know you don’t feel the way that I do, But having you on my mind makes my skies so blue. I know its hard showing you how I feel, But if you can give me a chance I can guarantee they’re real. I know we will probably end up being just good friends, But I want much more than that so seeing you will never end. I still know that after you read this nothing will change, Even though I yearn for it to happen, I have to survive the pain. I know my quest for love has to go on, And I know hopefully it will happen before your gone. |

I like the poem, something that I, and probably many people, can really relate to. It seems as though this is a poem that you actually gave to the person you're writing about/to. This makes me think that it ends right where another poem could maybe begin. Try writing a follow up or something, I'd like to know how it turned out. If don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. |

This is a really good piece... it's hard to be in this situation, and you express that really well. Good work! Most of us go to our grave with our music still inside of us. |
