In my troll closet I be

A mysterious outline,
Peaked here, arched there,
Spontaneous structure, like being constructed in dark,
An enchanted castle, forgotten.

A bright, but quite surrounding,
Green with trees and brilliant flowers,
Tall ivy courses, long sparkling ponds,
A desolate forest, haunted.

Forbidden passages, among cobweb covered halls,
Only lighted once a corridor.
Eerie corners, creaking doors,
Throw off and spew a disgusting aura.

Even the lightest of spirits don’t dwell,
As nothing is to be found in this forest realm.
The fairies, sprites, and butterflies soar in other air.
The orcs, wraiths, and dark elves swarm darker dreams.

A mystic occurrence, shocking yet beautiful
Swarms my dreams just dreamt.
Its warm with picture, flooding my mind.
A wondrous adventure not traveled, not yet.

Laura -

I LOVE this.  Fantastic imagery, and an amazingly effective theme you used... I love everything you've done with this piece, it's just perfect.

Very, very nice writing, Laura.  I'm quite impressed.
