I have no more inspiration to write. It's been a year I believe since I wrote the last one.Everything in me is stagnant and probably dead. So, I'm just going to share some of my last poems to the new members.I hope you enjoy.

A Memory of Forgotten Dreams

Angelic voice thru silence of melancholy nights
Oh virgin silhouette floating on gentle breeze
A sight.....
Yes.....
a sight that in brilliance of skies lit blue
And pearls that shine.....
thus greet all with subtle delight

Reddened lips surrounded of passion’s untold
Magnificent crown’s lost in waves of seas
An essence...
aromatic wonder of redolent garden blossoms
What lustrous.....
timeless.....
flawless sheath of silk and gold

These are images carved on this, a lover’s theme
Still cold to your touch of sweet caress
So again.....
I trance wistfully into this, a gentle slumber
For you my love.....
are nothing but.....
“a memory of forgotten dreams”

Twilight's Serenade

Serenaded by stars thru peaceful twilight
In dreams alone you dance
upon moonlit clouds
What moment set amidst this,
a tranquil night
A Flower’s bow…
‘Tis a gracious ovation endowed

Elegance kept in this gentle prance
Sways a subtle waltz adrift
an emulous crescent-light
Amongst the skies gliding,
leaving a hypnotic trance
A terpsichorean born...
Oh, what heavenly beauty in sight

This ambience set by such radiant charm
A gracious smile donned,
curing a lover’s pride
Paramount guise in painting
bestowing an ivory sight
Truly an angel…
My immaculate rose of eventide

A Moment’s Time

A realm built on expressive words,
and that of undiscovered sounds.
Voices of my affection said in such stillness,
meant never to be known...,
...and not even to be ever heard.

Oh beauty cherished by the unsung,
and the barer of my untold.
You are the imagination of one’s desire,
the untouched silhouette in my dreams.
The mirage dancing in the breeze
then quickly taken away by the wind.

I shall wait till my moment’s end has past,
be your forsaken hoping it won’t last.
I shall live in the hands of death,
be searching until I breathe my last breath.

You are she who shines ever so bright,
and thus color the moon with gracious light.
You are she who warms my heart you see,
my beautiful and only mighty Aphrodite.

là où est mon amour?
donde está mi amour?
wo ist meine Liebe?

Acies~
I can certainly relate to the frustration
of dealing with a missing muse.
I do hope yours finds it's way home soon.
Meanwhile, I'm glad you decided to share
some of your past work with us.
These are all three very beautifully written,
and I truly enjoyed reading them.
Extremely well penned, my friend.
How about trying one of the Teen Challenges.
That might help tease your muse into cooperating again.
It's worth a shot and it might even be fun.
Hugs,
~Vicky

As poets we are all mortal.  Perhaps what you need is a rebirth... consider learning another language, writing in that one for a while.  I've found that helpful.

Try new styles, new formats... read a lot of poetry, old and new... I think eventually you'll find yourself once again able to articulate the world poetically.

However, if you'd rather just give in, that's fine.  The choice is yours, Acire, but I hate to see a good poet go to waste... and work like you've posted above does make me think that you are, very certainly, a good poet.

So long, my friend.
