These nights have grown long Filled with loneliness and reflection Doing my best to stay strong Desperatly needing some affection Travelling down this lonely road Ain't seeing any signs of light Carrying an unforgiving load In time this road shall be bright Hidden within a shadow Simply scared to take a chance Suffering by myself though Caught my eye at first glance Can't conceal how I feel The loss would be too great This feeling is so surreal To be with you is my fate |

I can say I thouroghly enjoyed this piece. I could relate to it you know I went through some of this stuff with my girfriend: "Hidden within a shadow Simply scared to take a chance Suffering by myself though Caught my eye at first glance" That was pretty much how it was I was scared to talk to her at first but I still thaught she was beutiful. Anyway... This was a very good poem I hope to read more in the future. Darkness |
