floating down a river...

I know I might've,
Led you to some false conclusions,
I've often led myself there too.
Word spreads like fire,
And now I have to explain myself,
To everyone.
Tell them how:
I was just a little lonely,
And you made me feel,
A little less lonely,
It was just what I needed.
I'm sorry.
It didn't mean a thing.
At least that's what I've convinced myself.

Well, that came out badly. At least I think so..we'll see what you guys think.

ohh..I've had people *grumbles*parents*grumble* who jump to completely inaccurate cnclusions about me all the time...apart from being excruciatingly frustrating, I HATE explaining myself to people I dont think deserve a bloody explanation.

I think your situation might have been a bit different though. Just tell the person you didnt mean it to come out like that- and to stop acting as though youre a disease...hope it goes well.

As for the poem, i think it served your purpose

Are you scared?                            BOO! Are you now?

Cherish needs an advil.

Enjoyed your poem, Erin... it is true that it's hard for us to find the, what do you call em?  Words?  Yeah words.  The words to say what we really mean.

And sometimes it comes out embarassingly wrong.  That's OK.  This poem isn't embarassingly wrong.

Nice work.

I think what you were expressing came out just fine. We've all been there in some way or another...did something out of loneliness and ended up regretting it jus cuz it was like a quick fix. It's how humans cope..but was it really only for that one time and didnt mean n e thing? Or did it? That you have to answer for yourself and thats a whole other story...

Sometimes I get so weird
I even freak myself out
I laugh myself to sleep
It's my lullaby
