Everyone says I'm introverted, like
Love, hate, happiness and sadness are all
Enveloped by my exterior, blocking
Access to my thoughts.
No-one really understands why. I see being
Open as I see being naked at school;
Ridiculous.
Most people say that I only open up through poetry
Or sad, sad songs
Or scars.
Not many see the latter, stopped
Bleeding, covered by soft black sleeves.
Anyway, these people challenge me.
Bring it on, I can defend. I just don't need to.
Yeah, that's all. No, I can't talk to my parents,
       thankyou anyway.
                Can I go now?

Awesome!  This is definitely my favourite answer to the challenge... you absolutely dominated this format.  It was like you wrote a poem and by sheer coincidence it was an acrostic of your name... heh...

Your title had me really wanting to jump in and read it while I was reading everything beneath this one in the forum...   I was not let down in the least.

Your last name is Warren?  That's also the last name of my old High School guidance counsellor... freaky huh?

Extremely well done, Eleanor.

Wow - this is fabulous. I love the way it ran through. It felt to me like an extended sentence with a great touch to it.

Well done. I'm impressed.

yes indeed, this is the best one to the challenge i've read thus far. *gasp*shock* i even like it better than the challenge submitter(sp), LP. Excellent write dear.

Ellie~
This is an EXCELLENT write!   I am truly impressed.
I have to agree with LP...I didn't feel like
I was reading an acrostic.  It was 'there',
but it by no means dominated the poem.
I especially liked the end and the added
touch, beyond the actual acrostic.
VERY nicely done!  Challenge well met!

Wow, thankies! to you all for being so nice....
Usually I hate writing these things, I feel like I'm putting in stupid stuff just for the sake of the format, but this one came out ok. Well, it could have been worse. I was going to call myself X85! Lol!
