in my fears i am nothing in my dreams i am everything i sleep away the years to make something of myself but i am still nothing i live in fear "in fear of what" people ask in fear of my dreams |

Well, I really like this a lot. In a way I kind of know what you are saying, b/c not all of my dreams are what I want and I'm afraid they could mean something. But yah, thats just me. Good job and Welcome! Yay Real friends are those who, when you feel you've made a fool of yourself, don't feel you've done a permanent job. |

 Welcome to Passions! Nice first post. Your dreams are nothing to be afraid of. What you should be scared of is not acting on your own thoughts and feelings. If you want something, go out and get it. You have nothing to fear but fear itself. Remember to reply as well as post here. You will tend to have a greater response to your writing if you contribute. Very interesting poem. As has already been said, dreams are pretty harmless. Nothing to be afraid of. Reminds me of my nephew who constantly fusses about having to go to bed because he has a dream about a rainbow-coloured wolf that attacks him. Kind of nutty. If you mean you have a fear of your aspirations, then that's something also under your control. If your aspirations are intimidating, switch them up a little bit. Otherwise, make your aspirations more short-term, so that you can periodically see your own successes and draw strength and confidence from them. Welcome to Passions.
