I liked him.
But so did you
With your looks how could I argue?
Still to this day
With him your stay.
But friends are we no more.
You just couldn't let your heart be sore.
You were the swan and I was the duck.
You,the pretty one,with all the luck.
But I ask myself
Some starry nights.
Was it worth all the fights?
To lose a friend over some guy?
And forever in darkness cry.

Nice work. I liked the flow that your rhyme scheme created. I have a softspot for uneven rhyming lines...

wow, that totally describes me and my "friend" right now. i'm actually tearing up. very nice, yet sad at the same time.

Not all days are happy, but always remember that a bad day will be followed by a better one.

It wasn't worth it. Don't let your insecurities or jealousy ruin something good. The same thing happened to me and a friend. TOok us a while, but we made it through. GOod luck. Nice poem
