a sob of pain
the sting of tears
so many regrets for so few years
chances not taken
a love that was lost
the burdens weigh heavily
show a soul what's the cost
of things never finished
of places not seen
how can something invisible
be so mean
live life to the fullest
always dare to dream
nothing's worth regretting
nothing you've heard or seen

"Nothing is so strong as gentleness; Nothing so gentle as real strength."  -Francis de Sales.

The place just beyond my eyes, where my spirit flies.

I've learned to live life, pretty much without regrets. But there are those times when I look back into my past and I shudder and close my eyes tight, wishing I could take back those things I did or said. You explain regret exelent in this poem. It was awesome.
