Look into my mind,
And see what you fear.
I am your worst enemy,
You're the prey, my dear!

"Tears of Kasai" kisses the air,
Slashing, hacking, dicing...
Slivering it's own dispair!
With you on it's lips...

Enigmas sandwiched in pain,
sent this vile climate upon us.
But the blade of my love---
Not just pain, but glorious.

Gods tremble, planets die.
At each lacking moment---
Without you, I cry.
Secretly, I want you to hear my plea.

Help me overcome my pride,
And let us work this through...

E muja oui, "Hyweyr". Pavune E lyh raym ouin byeh, E ryja du kad ujan so ufh...

i liked this.  but not as much as your other work.  i really really loved the line 'you're the prey my dear!'

ooh i wish i could steal it.  :: sigh ::  but no, i was cursed with theses horrible things called morals.  and just to be mean, they threw in some decency.  :: sigh ::  oh well, one can dream.

nicely done.

/jen/

oh, and ps.  just a rant because i'm kind of freaking.  why is it that i keep hearing people moving around in my house?  i'm all alone.  this is not the first time either.  i always hear it.  am i crazy or something?  i mean, this is a brand new frickin house!!  it's only four months old, it hasn't had time to become haunted.  no one's died yet.  hmmmmm...  perplexing indeed.  what do you say my dear alex?

oh, and the ironic thing is, when i was living over in wolesley a while back, the house was almost ninety years old.  and i never heard a sound.  grrrrr...  i'm so confuzzled.  ::shrugs::

/jenagain/

at first i wondered why white oleander was in the six dollar bargain bin.

and then i read it.

Smashing, Alex, one of the best I've read from you in a while. The meter stalls a few times, but overall, intruging, dank and moody, deep, dark with feelings lurking about.

Thanks for the read. Though you didn't write it for me.

Sincerely,
Titus

I liked this one a lot. Very well written, but the message was confusing seeing as how I had no idea what the title meant, nor kassai, or something.
Explain that buddy hehe

Aww your welcome Alex....
Why does everyone have to be so cruel...
Yes as you would have guessed...
Something else bad happened...
Just like me and Krystn sensed something bad would happen...And he bother got hit in the head witha foot ball and i got called names by 2 of my "friends"...
It's a curse....A terrible,Terrible CURSE!

Alex~
Look...it's a reply from me! lol
I know I don't often get a chance to reply,
but I do want you to know that I do enjoy reading
your poetry and, though you may not always see
my name on a thread, it doesn't mean I'm not watching,
reading, and appreciating your work.
I like this piece very much and especially
enjoy the symbolism that you use so well.
Keep up the great work!
