I am Ophelia
I am chapters, lines, and letters
I am testimonies and tears
I am poetry and prose written with shaky hands

I am Ophelia
I am drugs, sex, and alcohol
I am endless pain and sleepless nights
I am the laughter and tears of a shaky voice

I am Ophelia
I am always with you, near you, and beside you
I am invisible to naïve eyes, and all too real to yours
I am life, lived with a shaky heart

I am you, and I am everything you will never be

I am Ophelia

This is a gem, Lisa.

Very simple, yes, but you still write it with great eloquence.

Your re-use of the word "shaky" was well-taken and added a good sense of consistency to this piece. Much enjoyed.
