The Struggle

Standing In Silence...

Hands shaking,
From the sick emotions,
That keep playing with my head.
They won’t let me rest,
They must want me dead.
I know I can’t give in,
But it’s so hard sometimes.
It feels like all I know is how to hate,
Though I refuse to let them win,
They enjoy seeing me in anguish.
They must love to berate,
For its all they do.
If only they could see the pain they cause,
Oh if they only knew.
Perhaps then they might beware,
Of what they grew in me.
It started as a small flame of anger,
Then grew as a raging blaze.
Once that gets a hold of them,
It will never let them free.
They only helped it along,
By throwing petty things at it,
And building it higher and higher.
They suddenly saw it was strong,
Now it’s down to a struggle for power.
Who will win?..
What will the outcome be?....

I'm not sure if I'm going to make a sequel to this yet, but like I said, I'm not sure yet...so we'll see what happens. Hope you enjoy this.

I hope u make a sequel, but even if you don't, it stands well on it's own, so either way GREAT job!!

This poem is really unbelievable. As is all of your work. I really liked the style that you wrote this in. Especially how you ended it with a question. Really good work. Love's.
