Your Promised Scrolls

A purple haze of outlining mist, smoldered to blend with the blue
Green with envy the yellow is kissed
Branded orange with differences, red with rage its tip points to you

Encased within a CD rainbows reflection, your face on the computer screen surrounded by all
Forced to hear over, your words spout rejection
A knight once noble in silvers radiance, has now proven the wrath behind his hidden wall.

The red point now shadowing your brow, reflecting an arrow with loves burnt wings
Overpowering my will to never again allow
Banishing a forever promised love, untangling your grasp from around my heart strings.

Watching the sinking of life's forgiven rainbow, the true colors of Gods promised world
Drawing my strength to recover all that I've bestown
Leaving your tears to drown as your promised scrolls slowly shrivel and curl.

Wow... I'm absolutely blown away by this.  I read this over about three times just to make sure I didn't miss a thing about it.  You use some very impressive imagery to illustrate your emotions.  Imagery to show emotions... I'm absolutely in love with that technique.

This kind of thing, a breakup (which is what I assume it is, although it could be some other separation of a devoted love...), is usually not touched upon so elegantly as you have.  I enjoyed this a great deal, and I'm glad to see another promising, new face come to Teen Poetry #6.  I think we should all have great expectations for this forum, with the caliber of poetry I've seen lately.  Yours is an important contribution.

Bravo.

Wow. I really don't think I can add anything to what LP said, other than I think this was amazing. Truly amazing.
