One day, I was cleaning goo out of my brace
When a football hit me right in the face!
So I said to the culprit "Would you mind
Finding a target of a different kind?"
So, he took my glasses and painted them white
(I used paint thinner to regain my sight!)
Made fun of my greasey, side-parted hair
Gave me wedgies by pulling my underwear
Mocked my acne and love of maths
And repeatedly violently kicked my a**
Spilt ink all over my nice clean pants
Ruined my chances of finding romance
With a girl in my grade, who had big boobies
Her lipstick as red as sparkly rubies
I would have asked her, if I dared
If I could taste her pi r squared
Well, it's three years later and I'm leaving school
Never known what it's like to be cool
I'll always be the one who's unique
This is the Geek rap! Respect the Geeks!

Ah, some immature poetry! Written from experience (I'm a girl, but allegedly a geek nonetheless!).

In the beginning, the Universe was made. This has angered a lot of people and has been widely regarded as a bad move- Douglas Adams

Hey, it's kind of a no-no to use asterisks instead of letters in order to mask a word.  It's in the guidelines you read when you joined.     If you quickly edit the real word in, I don't think "ass" is one of our unusable words (I've seen "kick ass" used before with nobody so much as flinching in its direction).

Other than this, you'll have a lot of people in a poetry forum who know what it's like to be a geek.     Just make sure that nobody is too offended by this.

This made me smile, though.  Good to see a novelty poet who actually brings some kind of style to the genre, finally posting here in Teen.

hey,
haha, it made me laugh... i know it's crap that we can't use stars, but meh that is the price of PIP, and i don't think this will offend anyone, but if it does that will make me laugh too (as mean as that sounds) in my opinion, PIP needs to lighten up a bit..and this does the job nicely. thanks for sharing, hugs n fishes.

Sorry about the star thang..... OK, here goes... ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass! That OK?!
And sorry if I offended anyone.... I sort of assumed that because I don't mind my fellow geeks being mocked occasionally, no-one else would. A lot of people would disagree, I guess. But, overall, it's just a daft poem that I thought of, and is even more effective if recited to a beat with a geeky voice!

*L* You made ppl happy. Some of the greatest poems evoke emotions, but others provoke thought...yours is a combination of both.

i liked this so much. i was laughing so hard when i read it. i always feel bad for geeks and try to help them. this is a wake up call altho it is in a form of comedy. i don`t know if that`s how u saw it but i saw it that way. good poem!

Harsh Lizzy! Harsh.
We all have a bit of "nerd" in us sometimes.
Anyway...strange poem/rap...quite descriptive however, and in that manner quite well done. There's a little geek in us all.

Well, sexybaby, there was no reason behind this, other than I've watched one too many of those vomit-inducing American teeny-crap comedies where there is nearly always a geek. I figured it would make a funny poem, and make people think before being mean to geeks! Next up: The nasty cheerleader!

PS: what's with all my old poems being dug up anyway? I'm confused! Might even repost my first ever post, "While You Were Out"! heh.
