She did it to prove he was bad
And you were mad

I did a bad thing, I planned it all out
but he did it too
And you know I'll be good next time"

You should have lost them both
but you saw it as one or the other
and you chose the weak and vile victim
And gave him what you thought would keep him close

You don't love him
You love what you think he is
And who he really is you'll never know or awknowledge

She is no better and you swore you'd forget her
but you can't loose every open wound
Everything you never said

You crawl back at your convinence
And give her a excuse and a way to hurt you, again
Why shouldn't she?

She did it once
Under the guise of protecting you
of showing you a truth you still don't see
but in all actuality
She only got what she wanted

A wedge driven between those who make her jealous

And a taste
Of him

Nice work! This was a pleasure to read... I love the strong concluding lines, especially the third-to-last one. A visual treat to have it standing alone like that, to enhance the importance and impact of it.
