When whispers dance, my threadbare sky
And all the world – does pass me by;
I lean toward the golden hue,
and warm my face with thoughts of you.
Content to rest within the view.

An easy tear? I shall not cry!
Nor drain such sorrow from my eye,
I shall encase myself in blue;
When whispers dance.

But somewhere in the root of I,
Where passion goes to quietly die;
The seed of love we proudly grew,
vast vines of strength in all things true.
Take my hand ~ Once more we’ll fly!
When whispers dance.
