Once Again
~*~

I drifted off to sleep
wondering if it would happen again.
Stalking in the shadows
of the murky moon filled room,
is the roaring lion
of reminiscence.
Frantic,
he curls under the blanket
into my secret thoughts,
leaping
into my dreams.
Intense green eyes,
and skin shining
from the moon,
touch my face.
My trembling soul awakes,
and I wonder
if your
picture in a frame
will ever be enough.

Intense, lots of emotion in here, Debra. I remember having to turn a picture around, just to get some sleep.

A cogent framed photo you have!
Not to mention the picture you've painted here is quite intense.

Enjoyed
