Passions, It’s Nice To Know Ye

You came around when I needed you
you were there when I didn’t look
you’ve come to be the better part of me
like the pages of a well-worn book

troubled spirit, distressed soul
under close scrutiny, lost control
forward bound and heaven bent
angels listened, then Passions sent

You came around when I needed you
you were there when I didn’t look
you’ve come to be the better part of me
like the pages of a well-worn book

and as in real life, there’s history
a page for you, a page for me
lessons learned, lessons taught
and the ear that I have sought

so to Passions and it’s Poets here
know to me and mine you’ve been dear,
you’ve come to be the better part of me
like pages of a worn book's history...

'slightly revised?'  I think the revised is
just revised right....How about them apples?

And yes,  I feel the same way....this place
certainly is a good place to share,  to
grow and to learn many things...

Beautiful Karilea...
They do come in so quickly at times
we hardly have a chance to greet them at the door.
But we do hope they all learn to love this place as much as we do.

Karilea - Yes indeed. The poets of Passions have certainly been here like family for me, even in my darkest moments. It is also a quiet place to come and ponder other writers thoughts on whatever comes to mind. We are all very lucky to have in one way or another found this special "home." hugs, Chris
