Youth’s Legatee

There was a path I walked upon
In my youth and now long gone.
A rainbow path of colored hew
Of candy dreams and misty you

A valley filled with daffodil
With singing of the whippoorwill
And Spanish moss in nightly toss
With fireflies that lit the course

With moonlights silver snowy flare
And golden glint within your hair,
With dancing leaves in make believe
And touch less touch of hearts receive

I’ve found the path I knew was there
And everything is still as fair
You have not changed a moment’s store
Your beauty stays forever more.

You are my youth’s legatee the
Forever of my youthful see

What a beautiful spirit you have--so tenderly loving...my. It's such an odd physical sensation to feel warmth through goosebumps.

In this morn of October air
I find this poem, a bit of fair
a cooling breeze to give some ease
just know, please know, I'm ever pleased...

Good morning, Sy...

Serenity,
Only you could think of something like that to say.

Sunshine,
And I too.

Ahhh my prince of imagery...your gifts are shining in every word of the lovely lovely poem.
Stinkylove this is beautiful!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You braid rhymed rainbow strands in my hair
you paint Eden's gate ... then take me there.
You hang the moon, dusking the day down to done ...
then you dawn the day's begin with golden rise of sun.
Your spirit shines in every verse and line ...
and my view of your hue is oh so devinely fine.
JM,
My mind has sipped the rye of your sky
And dizzied on the spirits high
And fragile wings of rhythmic rhyme
Allows this flight but for a time.
Thank you part of a new poem.
Sy, though a little bit more water has been
under your bridge....I do understand this
well....have felt it many times....Only
difference is you said it so eloquently..
